Thank you for visiting Asano Mokkousho. This page explains how to order and the points to note when shopping with us. Please read it before placing your order.

From Order to Delivery

1. Placing Your Order

When you find an item you like, click the "Add to Cart" button on the product page. Follow the on-screen steps to enter your details and the delivery address, then choose your payment method and shipping method.

2. Order Confirmation (Price and Delivery Date)

Once your order is confirmed, we will send you a separate email titled "About Your Order" in addition to the automatic order receipt. It contains the total amount and the estimated shipping date, so please check it.

3. Shipping Fees

Shipping within Japan (Sagawa Express)

Orders delivered within Japan are shipped by Sagawa Express. The fee depends on the delivery region and the package size.

* Size is the total of the package's length, width and height (cm). If a package exceeds the weight limit for its size, the fee for the next larger size applies.
* If the total price of items per delivery address is 10,000 yen or more, shipping is free. However, an additional shipping fee may be charged after your order for deliveries to Hokkaido, Shikoku, Kyushu, Okinawa or remote islands, and for large items. We will notify you by email in that case.

* All fees include Japanese consumption tax.
* Additional charges may apply for remote islands and some areas. We will contact you by email after your order if this applies.

International Shipping

Orders delivered outside Japan are shipped by EMS (Japan Post), FedEx or UPS.

EMS (Express Mail Service)

EMS fees follow Japan Post's EMS rates and are determined by the destination zone and the packed weight (up to 30kg).

* Japan Post will revise its international postal rates on February 1, 2027. EMS rates will change from that date.

FedEx / UPS

Shipping fees for FedEx and UPS vary by destination country/region and by the weight and size of the package. For a quote, please contact us through our inquiry form.

* Customs duties, import taxes and other charges may be payable by the recipient depending on the destination country/region.
* Cash on delivery is not available for deliveries outside Japan.

4. Payment

We accept payment by PayPal (credit card payments are processed through PayPal). We will ship your order after confirming your payment.

5. Delivery

Items in stock are shipped on the next business day after your order is confirmed (after payment is confirmed).
Items not in stock are made to order and are usually shipped within 10 business days. Depending on the availability of materials, it may take several weeks; in that case we will inform you of the delivery date separately.
Delivery may be delayed, or may not be possible to the specified address, due to bad weather such as heavy snow or typhoons, natural disasters such as earthquakes, or traffic conditions. Thank you for your understanding.

6. Returns

Please open and check your items as soon as they arrive. If there is any problem with the item you received, please contact us. Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery.

Defective items or errors on our part

Please contact us by phone or through our inquiry form within 7 days of delivery. We will then explain how we will handle the return. Please note that we cannot accept returns of used items.

Returns for customer reasons

Returns for customer reasons are accepted only for unused items, and only if you contact us within 7 days of delivery. Please contact us by phone or through our inquiry form. The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.
